Texas Electric Board Members Live WHERE?

It is laughable that people are talking about how unreliable wind turbines are in cold weather.

If the wind turbines were maintained properly, they would have continued to generate electricity. Just like the wind turbines in Antarctica do. And I am guessing here, but I think the winter in Antarctica might be a little colder than anything that hit Texas.

Does Antarctica Have Functioning Wind Turbines? (snopes.com)

Exactly.

My state has wind turbines all over the state. Those areas start to get snow in November and are bitter cold until April.

Never, not once, have those turbines ever failed.

But we properly maintain them.

How did I "act like there was a national grid"?
Read the media stories about the Texas power grid. They claim the Texas power grid is completely isolated and not connected to the national power grid, and that they get out of regulations by doing this.

In the early 1900's they were concerned that people no longer knew how to shoe their horses, or churn their own butter, or make their own wagon wheels.
