The commies want the Texas power grid....Houston lawmakers, AOC push Texas ERCOT to join other power grids

Why else would your heroes be so interested in forcing the Texas power grid under national control? Nothing 'paranoid' about it, except your need to defend the indefensible. Your banana republic regime really hates Texas.

Most states understand the value of belonging to a power grid to save money and protect against blackouts

Texas does not

It would be better for the masses in the state of Texas, but I agree, a move like that is something, Texans should decide on, and not the business of nut balls in New York, like AOC.

Very True, but it is a Texas thing, and a states right thing. It is not for congress to try to save Texans from Texan robber barons. This is much ado about nothing, as it simply won't fly, but is grist for armchair debaters on both nut ball sides. Nobody that supports the Constitution and States rights could possibly support it, nor would the Supreme Court ever side with forcing it.

We went threw that sort of nationalized monopolistic fiasco with Enron, sucking juice out of Texas to sell in California, driving up prices in both states and screwing over working class people, something you commies are fond of, but nobody else is.

We went through that crap when Texas was out of power for a week and Ted Cruz escaped to Cancun

Originally it was separate in case the grid went down - the refineries could keep going. Just ten years ago Texas effectively had an energy generating surplus. That has all changed.

Now the areas bordering the national grid are the ones that stay on.
