PROVE IT!
It amazes me how the party who claims to want democracy flees the state because they don't think they will like the results of democracy.
What I realize is that you right-wingers lie so much that you believe the lies you tell are true. I do not recall a president ever calling a governor, telling him to redistrict to help him in Washington. The will of the voters in Texas is to be represented; this map dilutes representation; therefore, it is Repubicans who are not doing the will of the people. Texas storm victims are not being served by a special session to redistrict. So you can drop that lie, too. You are the one projecting, and the days of right-wingers getting away with gaslighting are over.you do realize that the Dems protest is a deflection and projection, therefore protesting their own behavior, but it gets worse, because they are proving once again that they have 2 standards, "rules for thee but not for me".
Texas should be redistricting and gain more reps, because of the shift of populations to Texas and FL, Texas especially a victim of severe demographic shifts and changes.
The most insane talking point of the protest Dems and media parrots is that Texas is violating the democratic process, once again projection, it is the protesters that are violating the will of the voters and the powers of authority in that democratic process that made the protesters feel above the system and people for sake of resisting DEMOCRACY. IN SHORT TERMS itis the Dem officials and the kvetchers who are literally trashing on our democratic processes. To hear that as their go to talking point only backfires back at them, as what they are doing is what they so love to call trash and violate and enemy of democracy. Protest= epic fail, and add the fact they chose resistance over aid for Texan storm victims, just p'o'd alot of their constituents .
You must be talking about the dem overreach against Trump and the Jan 6'rs. That's exactly what you just described. It amazes me that conservatives, who give such obviously empty lip service to opposition to federal overreach are completely cool with the FBI hunting American citizens, on US soil....that have committed no crimes, are suspected of committing no crimes, nor are subject to no federal investigation.
And are subject to no warrants in FBI jurisdiction.
How are the Democrats breaking the rules? Explain.Sounds like you'd better get on that right away. And while you're at it, properly scold the democrats for breaking the rules. You know they did, acting like children instead of being the adults they are supposed to be. I mean, since you're all about the rules and stuff.
Prickster's state is already gerrymandered.I'll tell you about it when a Democratic President calls Governor Pritzker and asks him to redistrict.
As a good faith move go ahead and un-gerrymander the blue states. Until that happens **** off with your crying.Once again, Trump violates rules and Republicans rush to defend his violation with "the both sides do it" defense and of course they are the victims.
Before I start, let me state that gerrymandering needs to end, so does the fillibuster and the electoral college. And yes, both sides gerrymander.
There has not been one time I can recall a Democratic president calling a governor to ask him to redraw a map in order to give Democrats an advantage. Furthermore, republicans are always cackling about how elections belong to the states.
ALL RISE!
Todays lesson
Texas Republicans, including Gov. Abbott, were reluctant to redraw the state’s congressional maps. Then Trump got involved.
Before he called lawmakers back to Austin to redraw Texas’ congressional maps, Gov. Greg Abbott was initially resistant to the plan pushed by President Donald Trump’s political team to pick up new GOP seats through a rare mid-decade redistricting, according to two people who have spoken to Abbott and the White House about the behind-the-scenes discussions.
The majority of Texas’ GOP congressional delegation was also wary of the idea, with many members concerned that Republican map-drawers could miscalculate and spread their voters too thin — thus putting their jobs in jeopardy — while trying to flip Democratic seats, six people involved in internal delegation discussions told The Texas Tribune.
Abbott told House Republicans from Texas that he was reluctant to take up the issue in Austin, where state lawmakers approve the new lines, if it would pit him against the delegation. In discussions with Abbott’s office, White House staffers attempted to assuage his worries but were unsuccessful, according to two people with direct knowledge of the developments.
Then, Trump placed a call to Abbott during which they discussed redistricting. The governor subsequently agreed to put it on his agenda for the special session, according to two people who spoke with White House officials about the call, one of whom also discussed the matter with Abbott's office.

Nope....because the red states are gerrymandered much worse. As I've told you many times. As a good faith move go ahead and un-gerrymander the blue states. Until that happens **** off with your crying.
You guys are the ones crying and you can stop being disingenuous. When you MAGATS talk about something being overused, it's right-wing lying and victimhood. As a good faith move go ahead and un-gerrymander the blue states. Until that happens **** off with your crying.
Easy.....The 2022 Freedom to Vote Act. Which passed the House, but not the Senate because of the Repug filibuster. That's not the point. It never will be.
Now, show me where Obama or Biden tried to stop such practices when it benefited their party. Go on, do it.
Oh, so in other words when we’re in charge we get to set districts and you can all **** off and stop crying about it.You guys are the ones crying and you can stop being disingenuous. When you MAGATS talk about something being overused, it's right-wing lying and victimhood.
This is about a president calling a governor and telling him to redistrict so Republicans can keep a majority in D.C. A president getting involved in the state election process. Had this been the governor doing it on his own, he was within his rights, no matter how much I don't like it. But that's not what happened, and your lying is just not something that's going to be listened to. Time is up for that. You Republicans don't get to pull stunts like this, then whine about what Democrats do until Democrats decide to let you have your way anymore. So if the president makes Texas do this, Democrats in Democratic states will erase Republicans.
As they tell us in "the hood", "don't start none, won't be none." I guess when you have a white entitlement mentality, you think you can start stuff and there are no consequences.
Not once, go figure, nobody informs you of what the democrat president does, who he calls. There has not been one time I can recall a Democratic president calling a governor to ask him to redraw a map in order to give Democrats an advantage.
Again, this is about THE PRESIDENT calling a governor, telling him to redistrict. There has not been a Democratic president who has done this. So quit avoiding the real issue to lie and whine.Oh, so in other words when we’re in charge we get to set districts and you can all **** off and stop crying about it.
Who ******* cares! If they can do it legally and add seats I’m all for it. Getter done. If the census can be redone honestly without illegals as it should have been done that too.Again, this is about THE PRESIDENT calling a governor, telling him to redistrict. There has not been a Democratic president who has done this. So quit avoiding the real issue to lie and whine.
It amazes me that conservatives, who give such obviously empty lip service to opposition to federal overreach are completely cool with the FBI hunting American citizens, on US soil....that have committed no crimes, are suspected of committing no crimes, nor are subject to no federal investigation.
They blame and throw Trumps name in due to TDS and you parrot the assumption, but do you have the tape recording and transcript proving he ordered it, and tell me your premise doesn't mean we can't arrest Obama and Biden for ordering actually illegal activities not legal ones like you accuse Trump of? once again proving:What I realize is that you right-wingers lie so much that you believe the lies you tell are true. You are the one projecting, and the days of right-wingers getting away with gaslighting are over.
Such as?Shut the **** up. You make all kinds of claims and don't show jack doo doo.
He misses the entire point. The President has called a governor in a Republican state and told him to redraw districts to give Republicans more seats in D.C.
Again, this is about THE PRESIDENT calling a governor, telling him to redistrict. There has not been a Democratic president who has done this. So quit avoiding the real issue to lie and whine.
