Zone1 Tax the Rich! Make them Pay their Fair Share!

No, but the profits of an industry should be distributed more equitably with those who create them.
Are they also going to be on the hook for industry shortfalls? IOW, if they get paid more when the company makes a profit, should they not be paid less when it runs a loss?

"Are they also going to be on the hook for industry shortfalls?"

They are on the hook, their job goes away.

They get fired

Their ass is on the line if the company fails

There is so much bias on the part of so many here that it makes evident how nearly impossible any objective societal goals could be set, much less reached, regarding fairness in taxation and benefit distribution.

in any such a case, universal high/basic income should fill their gaps, with properly revised and regulated bankruptcy laws to govern long stretches of losses by any single company.

So, tax the rich because they have more money so that the poor will then have more money. If the poor then have more money, they need to be taxed more because they have more money.

Tax the rich because that is where the money is

Giving tax cuts to the rich only results in continued cuts to programs that help the poor and working class

/---/ I'm sorry for your troubles. And I wish you well.
Some facts:
How Buying a Yacht Affects the economy
The purchase of a yacht can have a significant impact on the economy in several ways:
Increased Demand for Services: The yacht industry drives demand for marinas, boat storage facilities, and maintenance services, contributing to local economies.

Economic Growth: The boating industry has a trickle-down effect, benefiting various industries, including equipment and accessory manufacturers, insurance companies, and marine construction companies.

Job Creation: The demand for new and used boats has led to increased production and sales, benefiting manufacturers and dealers.

Economic Impact: The boating industry has a significant economic impact on the U.S. economy, contributing to growth and creating job opportunities.

Overall, the yacht industry plays a crucial role in the economy, providing jobs, stimulating local economies, and contributing to the overall growth of the boating sector.
Yachts vs. "boats":

Actually, there is more INCOME to be taxed in the middle class. There are not enough wealthy to give everyone everything.

well you're somewhat off target here bro; the working class should declare all tax havens and loopholes their targets.
and like any crimes, that should stay punishable & corrected at all times after such (repeated) declarations.

That's why you can't believe Warren Buffet when he complains he's not taxed enough. He doesn't care if his regular income got taxed higher, because it wouldn't affect the bulk of what he gets every year.

The Golden Rule says……..He who has the Gold, makes the rules

Our tax code is written by the rich, for the rich
Tax code has maybe half a page of tax exemptions for working Americans with over a thousand pages of tax exemptions for the wealthy
