Do you understand that there is an electoral system called PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION and another called FIRST PAST THE POST??

If you bothered to take a look at the election I sourced, it had the CDU/CSU winning a seat percentage of 77%, with like 36% of the votes. You think that's PROPORTIONAL?
Also another party who got 7% of the votes and 0% of the seats. You think that's PROPORTIONAL???

I'm not suggesting anything. I'm showing you what PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION IS.

And if I were suggesting a different system, you saying "but we don't have that" is like me saying "Do you want chicken for dinner?" and you saying "But I have beef", as if you couldn't choose chicken because you have beef in the fridge.
My issue with "proportional representation" is that it presumes we vote for party, rather than people. Which we need to get away from. RCV achieves many of the same goals without cementing parties into the mix.
