if any Polititian, Media Reporter, consumer activist, friend or family member of either can relay or act upon this message:
Will you please do something about the phoney unlimited data plans and truly unlimited plans that are indeed limited.
The claims of 2G is a lie, 5kbps is not 2G and not operable=nothing loads everything times out, and with the advent of 5g throttled speeds should now be 3g so we'd at least actually get real 2g and things would actually load. Fact: this kind of restricted access is not only illegal business practices that would drag someone named Trump in court, but also it affects some online commerce and productivity, slowing it down which affects the Gov'ts tax revenue even though in small ways, it does affect the consumer and the Gov't.
For the love of God draw up a bill requiring droped speeds to be no less than 3G and require truly unlimited to be caped at bo less than 250-300gb a month which is aprox what the avg user without wifi would use in the advent of streaming, VR, products like software & games being 20-40gb online downloads and not on Disc physical sales anymore, and companies like Microsoft insisting on without permission updating 1gb browsers every day, and Nvidia updates requiring 1-3 GB updates.
Half of the "unlimited" usage is stolen from us via corps who go unscathed in pirating your data and unagreed to hidden downloads. Either get them to pay half our cell bill or start regulating this stuff.
Please foward this to your district congress person and all those this applies to.
