The topic title implies the entire USMC was disarmed by the State Dept.

Turns out some Marines were not allowed to carry their arms on a commercial flight when evacuating Yemen. And there is no indication this is a "first", but the deranged piss drinkers have already decided it is.

If the media ever decided to do it's job the Hussein administration would be laughed out of town. While (another) serial liar Secretary/State John Kerry was trying to convince Americans that global warming was the greatest threat Hussein's pet project in Yemen was falling apart. The fat asses in the Pentagon were too busy with cocktail parties to take care of the Marines so when the evacuation order came so quick the Marines had to take a commercial plane out of Dodge and commercial flights don't allow firearms. It was a cluster fuk from the beginning.

Wow that wasnt biased in the least.
Looks like a straw man argument combined with some bullshit.
The Marines were ordered to destroy their crew served weapons at the embassy. Smashing the bolts with sledgehammers really wont do much. Doesnt take a lot to make a new bolt. They did not spike or drill the barrels. They did not torch cut the receivers, which is ATF-approved method of destruction.
They were forced to relinquish their personal weapons at the airport.
Looks like Fox got it mostly right, maybe even entirely right.

It gets placed in the luggage hold with all other luggage but the Marine is the only one with the key to his or her gun case. We pick up our weapons away from the normal luggage wheel in a designated area. We do not leave our weapons in the hands of others...never. What is going on? Who is calling the shots in our country?

They are in the hands of others like everyone else's luggage.

You should be able to carry it to your seat.

Not on a commercial airline. Never allowed.

Depends on whether it was a regular scheduled flight or chartered . Probably chartered therefore weapons could be carried aboard.
