State challenging birthright citizenship order confident it can still win in court

No it it doesn't.
Where does it say illegal aliens have birthright citizenship?
The birthright citizenship clause was intended to protect the citizenship for the children of the emancipated slaves.
The importation of slaves into the United States was made illegal on January 1, 1808, with the passage of the "Act Prohibiting the Importation of Slaves". This act was passed by Congress in March 1807
Any slave imported between 1808 and 1865 were illegal aliens.

Yet the 14th amendment clearly gave citizenship to their children, of all former slaves independent of their legal status.

Sure. Show us they violated immigration law. You're too ignorant to be taken seriously.

They were slaves. Property. Subject to the jurisdiction of the United States and the various States.

It is a distinction between slaves and people jumping across our borders, pregnant, with the sole intent of birthing a foreign bastard for the purpose of citizenship as an anchor to remaining in this country against our wishes.

Congress gave them power over their respective districts. NOT the entire country. That is where it says it.
They gave them the power to injoin a bad actor from their district, even if they flee the district.

There are actually more countries that do not allow 'birthright citizenship', than countries that have unrestricted birthright citizenship.

Of course they are. WTF are you babbling about. I get that you've had a horrible week since America is on a winning streak, but you're losing it.
The court pussied out on ruling on the 14th amendment

They chose to give Trump more presidential power
The power to ignore lower courts

Still nuthin'?

ONLY in their district.

A district judge in Washington has no power in Maine. That is not to say that Maine cannot ship the offender back to Washington, but that power is limiteid.

A DISTRICT JUDGE is by definition, limited to the district they rule in.

They have NO NATIONAL power. The SCOTUS agreed with that common-sense position.

Cool now do Obama's fake birth certificate... :auiqs.jpg:

States do not grant citizenship. Is there something wrong with you?
Read the constitution. States grant citizenship to the residents of their state, and that citizenship through privileges and immunities make them citizens of the "united states"

There are actually more countries that do not allow constitutional gun ownership than countries that have constitutional gun ownership.

LMAO, TRUMP's on a role right now. MSNBC had to interrupt to dispute and spin TRUMP's comments...:auiqs.jpg:

That guy is a crown subversive.

If I had a dollar for every time he has been incorrect about American law and culture, I'd be a rich man.
