Special Counsel Jack Smith has withdrawn his team from the DOJ’s appeal in the classified documents case against President-elect Donald Trump’s co-defendants. The case, along with discussions of preemptive pardons by President Joe Biden, have been the sources of great controversy in recent weeks.
