I know that Trump Appointed, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, who at the time was known to lack experience on the bench, has permanently barred the Department of Justice from releasing Volume II of former Special Counsel Jack Smith's report regarding Donald Trump's handling of classified documents.

It has been reported that "The ruling...blocks the report from being shared with Congress or the public." How very convenient.

Isolated and inexperienced: "A portrait of the judge overseeing Trump’s documents case from veterans of her courtroom."

Two of Judge Aileen Cannon's colleagues reportedly urged her to hand off Donald Trump's classified documents case to a different jurist. She refused.

Democrats cry foul over Judge Cannon’s handling of Trump documents case

I dropped the ball on following up on any appeals, and where the case stands now. As with the unreleased portions of the Epstein files, "As of May 2026, the Trump administration DOJ has not released all remaining Epstein files, having stopped at roughly 3.5 million pages despite identifying over 6 million potentially relevant documents. While a Jan. 30, 2026, release was labeled as "full compliance" by officials, lawmakers argue millions of pages, including FBI interview statements and draft indictments, remain withheld,"

this seems like just one more case of Trump running up against the guardrails of our justice system, a system he has despised since his earliest years [known fact].

You haven't seen anymore on it because it was a sham and Jack Smith was illegally appointed. Glad I could help you with that Dainty.

The Fool returns. Did you look into it? You poor pathetic excuse for a sentient being.

Cannon faces fresh appellate review of her pro-Trump actions on Jack Smith report
At stake is the release, and possible destruction, of Smith’s classified documents report, which the Trump-appointed judge has been helping to keep under wraps.

Appellants' Motion to Consolidate Appeals

American Oversight Appeals Judge Cannon Order That Could Clear Way for Permanent Destruction of Jack Smith Report
We also filed an expedited motion to prevent Cannon from granting Trump, co-conspirators’ requests to keep public in dark.

On February 24, 2025 - United States v. Trump - A motion to intervene in Trump classified documents case seeking release of Special Counsel’s report.

THESE THINGS DRAG ON AND THIS TRUMP-APPOINTED JUDGE, WITH LITTLE EXPERIENCE AND EVEN TRUMP HIMSELF KNOW THIS, AND WERE PERHAPS BETTING ON IT - TOGETHER

What a complete moron and a dope you are being here. That is from Jun 20, 2024. Where does that stand now?

When Trump is no longer running the show at Justice, we shall see. Again, with the game the Judge and Trump have been playing

As of November 2024, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals has dismissed Special Counsel Jack Smith's appeal to revive the classified documents case against Donald Trump. This followed Judge Aileen Cannon’s July 2024 ruling that Smith’s appointment was unconstitutional, a decision Smith appealed before ultimately dropping it after Trump’s election victory. [1, 2]
Status Summary (As of Early 2026):
  • Case Dismissal: Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed the case on July 15, 2024, ruling that Attorney General Merrick Garland lacked the authority to appoint Jack Smith and that the appointment violated the Constitution’s Appointments Clause.
  • Appeal Status: Special Counsel Jack Smith appealed the dismissal to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals on August 26, 2024, arguing the appointment was legal.
  • Appeal Withdrawn: Following Donald Trump’s election victory, Jack Smith requested in November 2024 that the 11th Circuit dismiss the appeal, citing DOJ policy against prosecuting a sitting president.
  • Final Outcome: The 11th Circuit granted the request to end the appeal.
  • Subsequent Rulings: In February 2026, Judge Cannon blocked the public release of the final report from Jack Smith’s probe, citing the previous dismissal of the case. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
The ruling from Judge Cannon in July 2024 directly contradicted decades of legal precedent, which has generally upheld the validity of special counsel appointments, according to legal experts.

and you are conflating things that are a wee bit too complicated for your damaged mind to absorb.

The constitution didn't change between 2024 and now, Dainty. Please read and engage your brain before posting your nonsense---you might post something useful.
