Odder still, we're just a week removed from tying an all-time daily high temperature, when it hit 87 degrees in Columbia last Sunday.

This was far more anomalous a precipitation event. Temperature-wise, this was completely typical weather for the region and the time of year. if you were looking for something to challenge global warming, this ain't it.
