So a Chinese guy cant own an app in the US but China the country owns 380K acres of farmland in the US. Well that makes sense to the left.

Foreign entities shouldn’t be allowed to own anything or do any business here in the United States. Doesn’t matter if it’s China, Mexico, or the United Kingdom.
Doing business here is one thing, but purchasing land and then flying spy ballons over our military infrastructure without even a rational minded decision being made in a timely fashion to thwart the incoming threat ? It is a major problem.

Not against doing business in the world, but it has to be totally transparent and fair for all participants involved.

I said it was limited and just read this article, it's actually leased from the Chinese govt for 70 years and the term can be renewed. But I guess you do not understand the word LIMITED. Doesn't surprise me a bit.

Getting off topic, because this is about national security concerning all transactions or decisions being made with a nation or country that can turn on a dime and use our hospitality in trade against us. So how far out on a limb are we one wonder's now ?

There is your first mistake... faulty IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) equipment...

Nope. You just haven't made a really good case about why I should be afraid of China just because you are.

China hasn't fought a war since 1979.

If we DO end-up instituting tariffs it will be a temporary measure used more as a bargaining chip and the serving of notice that all of this one-sided wealth flow of recent decades is coming to an end.

Except it won't work that way. The Chinese are already finding work around selling through third countries. The only way Trump's plan works if he puts tariffs on everyone. He needs to look up Smoot-Hawley to see how well that works out.

Fueled by low-paid labor and the dictates of single-party rule which has free rein to force its citizenry into compliance.

Again, guy, I watch a lot of Chinese media with my wife... China is not the dystopia you claim it is. Do they have our level of freedom? Nope. Is the Ministry of State Security checking what you had for breakfast? Nope.

Here's the reality. The Chinese just have a better work ethic than Americans do. We got fat, complacent and lazy.

All of Trump's "solutions" involve blaming someone else for our problems, never seeing what we can improve in ourselves.

This is why he will fail. Again.

Possibility that you might need to be investigated for possible connections or ties to China in ways that might be of a concern to our national security. Just saying.

you just sid they re not a threat and now youre saying they are,,

make up your mind,,

Didn't say they weren't a threat to each other.
I just said China isn't a threat to us.

They probably aren't a threat to Russia, because Russia has nukes.

But if Russia becomes economically dependent on China (GDP of 17 Trillion for China vs. just 2 Trillion for Russia) they are probably going to realize they got more than they bargained for.

you sure do know a lot about the inside workings of the CCP..

is there something you wat to tell us??

its OK I wouldnt admit it if I was a CCP spy,,,

The GOP eh ? Best include the main culprits as well. Not saying that the game hasn't been played by all, but leaving out the rest is not being forthcoming when addressing it all.
You are correct. The current state-of-affairs is truly a bipartisan Swamp Rats Production, spanning several decades.

China has nukes, and Russia respects China in ways that it doesn't demand, but rather it ask for China's help. Of course China has deffered the help to NK is my thoughts, and this way it covers China with the U.S. in as far as appearing neutral.

Your inability to see the looming danger is alarming but, fortunately, you are not in-power at the moment.
China hasn't fought a war since 1979.
Germany hadn't fought a war in 20 years and yet they used the 1930s to prepare for the next one.

This is China's 1930s.

You don't seriously think those faux arguments about South China Seas navigation are innocent, do you?

You don't seriously think those new aircraft carriers and growing combat fleet are just for self-defense, do you?

If you DO believe those things then you are simply not a serious player in such evaluations and may be safely ignored.

Except it won't work that way. The Chinese are already finding work around selling through third countries. The only way Trump's plan works if he puts tariffs on everyone. He needs to look up Smoot-Hawley to see how well that works out.
Then that's the way it will be... it's time to try just that, and see what happens.
Again, guy, I watch a lot of Chinese media with my wife... China is not the dystopia you claim it is. Do they have our level of freedom? Nope. Is the Ministry of State Security checking what you had for breakfast? Nope.
Chinese media? Chinese STATE-CONTROLLED media? Chinese Communist PARTY-CONTROLLED media? Uhhhhh... yeah... sure.

Oh, and... with your wife, eh? Chinese immigrant, is she?

Here's the reality. The Chinese just have a better work ethic than Americans do. We got fat, complacent and lazy.
Oh, I'm sure that you can find a substantial and rapidly growing collection of fat Chinese as well.

As to a work-ethic... they still have CCP-forced En Masse Labor and millennia of feudal subservience in their brains.

Give 'em a few more decades of increasing wealth and they'll be just as fat and lazy as anyone else, including us.

If you admire them so much then you may be living in the wrong country.

All of Trump's "solutions" involve blaming someone else for our problems, never seeing what we can improve in ourselves.
We get others to stop taking advantage of us in the short term, then set about ensuring that we will not be taken advantage of in such a manner again anytime in the foreseeable future.... but first-things-first... stop the abuse, first.
This is why he will fail. Again.
I am not a Trump fan, and I'm doubtful about his abilities in this regards, but at least this gets the conversation going again.

And that conversation (taking care of ourselves and stopping others from taking advantage of us) DOES need to resurface.
