So a Chinese guy cant own an app in the US but China the country owns 380K acres of farmland in the US. Well that makes sense to the left.

In 2021, a Chinese company bought land near an Air Force base in Grand Forks, N.D., sending lawmakers into a frenzy.

Lawmakers feared that China, which many policymakers view as a strategic adversary even though it's the country's top trading partner outside North America, could gain control over the U.S. food and energy supply, as well as a hold on markets and critical infrastructure.

The left are so culpable in the systematic destruction of everything this country was supposed to be. Freedom of speech all but gone

Actually, American socialists have never been in favor of selling land to foreign governments or capitalists, so you're uninformed.

why does it not surprise me youre siding with a hostile foreign country over the USA

Not hostile to me.

Frankly, what has China done that is "hostile" to the US? They prop up our economy buying our debt, they provide us with cheap goods that you wingnuts buy when you waddle around Costco and Walmart.

Did they fluff your pillow too much?

Did, did the socialists in office or the followers of the socialists in office run mass protests over that purchase when it happened?

Show me the protests. Where? Subject of The View? When?

You're a naive baboon.

Biden isn't a socialist and just because we don't have mass public protests about China buying land in the US, that doesn't imply that socialists are for it. There are many government right-wing conservative assholes like you who don't agree with many government policies, yet where are the right-wing Republican mass demonstrations? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, if you're going to pretend leftists have to organize mass public protests for every government policy they don't agree with to be considered genuinely concerned and opposed to such laws, then you should do the same. How about that you retarded orangutan? Dumbass.

YOu mean territories that belonged to China long before there ever was a United States?

Let's be blunt, here guy. Taiwan has been part of China since the Ming Dynasty (That would be in the 16th Century). They are ethnically Han Chinese, they speak Mandarin and the write in traditional Hanzi.

As for the South China Sea... The "nine-Dash line" goes back to the Qing Dynasty. Taiwan also claims the South China Sea as Chinese territory.

the list of hostile acts by china is a long one,

Really? List them. (Let's limit ourselves to just the People's Republic, m'kay.)

Um... Well, not the Korean War, were were encroaching on their border.
Invasion of Tibet? Nope, Tibet was internationally recognized as Chinese territory.
The war with India in 1962. Um, I will give you that one.
The war with Vietnam in 1979. Only because Vietnam invaded their ally, Cambodia.

So your "long list" are three or four incidents, and only in one of those was China clearly the aggressor.

can americans own property in china??

Who do you think owns the factories that make all the stuff you buy when you waddle around WalMart? (Okay, technically, they don't own the factories.)

What did “the left” have to do with it.

Your beloved fuhrer led the charge to the TicToc ban. And now he’s searching for a way to squirrel out of it.

there are more countries around the SCS other than china,,

it sure isnt the average chinese citizen that owns them,,

and I havent been in a walmart in over 12 yrs since I did fast stop the night before my youngest left for college for last minute stuff,, other than that its been 20 yrs or more,,

Who sold it then ?
Not American socialists, that's for sure. We believe land holdings in the US should be in the hands of Americans, not foreigners. Land can be owned for personal use, by American citizens. At best, foreigners can lease land, but the owner has to be an American citizen or the US government.

Yes, but here's the funny thing. None of those places were "countries" before 1945. The Philippines were a US colony, Vietnam was a French Colony, and Indonesia was a Dutch Colony, and none of them laid claim to these crappy little Islands at the time. They were perfectly fine with China's claim to them.

it sure isnt the average chinese citizen that owns them,,

So what?

What amuses me is that you guys wanted China to be more Capitalist, and now that they are, you guys are whining they are beating us at our own game.

Funny how you never addressed what the people of these countries or provinces want for their freedom and democracy in such places, so you tried to get technical while leaving out the main ingredient which is (drum roll please) ----- "THE PEOPLE" you big dummy.

Well for more entertainment and more china propaganda...want to know the real reason why the American commies want it banned?

So private citizens can't do the job of the old extinct investigative journalists use to do but have long been dead.

American socialists don't want TikTok banned, it's right-wing conservative Republicans and establishment Dems who pushed for banning TikTok. TikTok afforded socialists an opportunity to express their views without censorship, unlike other platforms like Facebook, and Instagram. etc.
