So a Chinese guy cant own an app in the US but China the country owns 380K acres of farmland in the US. Well that makes sense to the left.

If I was a Chinese investment firm I'd be thinking seriously about selling the property back to Americans before I could no longer get Fair Market Value for the land... I sense some interesting forced-sales and fast-tracked seizures in the not-too-distant future.

Again, you think Trump's anti-Chinese rhetoric is serious. It's just for you rubes.

Your MAGA hat was made in China.

We don't care who makes caps, T-shirts or socks or ties.
Its who buys farmland next to US military bases and who makes advanced computer chips or who makes advanced military drones that matters.

Now that's a good one JoeB... Gotta give credit when it's due. However Trump has to use (for the time being), what the Democrat's and Rhinos have left him on the table.

All soon to change for the better, otherwise in the trade department for Americans if your cult leaves Trump alone in order to balance it all back out.

Why do y'all hate Trade balances so much ? That should be the question for the American people.

Trump isn't against doing business with China or any trading partner, but not to the detriment of the United State's industrial base in which if we are going to be a respected economic force in the world, we must gain back our independence on the world stage, and not be looked at as a very dependent sold out country by it's own people upon the world stage.

I like affordable consumer goods.

Tariffs won't hurt China, they will hurt the American consumer, and they won't bring back the factory jobs Americans don't want to do in the first place. Those jobs all got replaced by machines.

Brings to mind the phobic response to Japanese investment in the US during the 80’s

That may very well be true but it is also true that it is madness to continue pumping money into China... even if that hurts our consumers.

Why, was Japan a communist country purchasing large swaths of land for farming?

Do you know the main way China caused mass genocide during the mao red revolution? Controlled food supply and mass starvation.

Huh....

There's still enough room for growth to arise out of the ashes if we as a nation change the way we've been doing thing's when it comes to trade balancing and growth stimulation within our own economies for our own citizen's.

Your answer was simplistic, but when it comes to reparing what the Democrat's and rhino's have done to our nation, it's way more complicated than that. Obama tried to say in regards to (Trump touting an economic boom for Americans in his first presidency), he Obama said that hey "where are all these so called new job's going to come from president Trump" ?

Well Trump proved him wrong big time, and went on to address the needs of this nation properly until the very suspicious Covid arrived on the scene in a very timely way, otherwise appearing that it's arrival was in some sort of way or bid too stop Trump's huge momentum going into the 2020 election. I MEAN HEY LETS FACE IT, THIS TIME THEY(?) ACTUALLY ATTEMPTED TO KILL TRUMP BEFORE THE 2024 ELECTION, OTHERWISE IF THE CONSPIRACIES ARE FOUND OUT TO BE TRUE OR RELATED.

Yes, this is definitely a very big red flag waving in our face's, especially after the experience with Covid, and us finding out how China is responsible for a large percentage of our medicine's being produced and shipped here by them.

So now China is intent on capturing our food supply as well ? You truly can't make this crap up these day's. The sell out of our defense industries, our food industries, our medical industries to China has become the biggest blunder and treasonous acts our nation has ever engaged in.

People ought to be going to jail for a long time over it.

I saw this thing coming on strong back in the eighties, and it has done nothing but gain momentum ever since.

No, madness is antagonizing a country that is not our enemy because we refuse to make the smart moves they have made.

China is doing well because it has spent decades investing in infrastructure and education. The result has been elevating 300 million people into the Middle Class and making China the world's largest manufacturer.

We gave tax cuts to rich people and they pretty much kept screwing what's left of the middle class.

Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

The democrats and most of our beloved iconic corporations that define America are working with/for China and doing their bidding. From Disney to the NFL to the NBA etc etc etc.

All of those ICONIC corporations are far removed the founders and those that started them and now run by millennial and Gen Z'rs. Graduating from our marxist centers known as universities.

Like I've been saying. Our phones, we'd be better off without them. It was not by accident that it was called the WORLD WIDE WEB.

Literally is.

There is your first mistake... faulty IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) equipment...
because we refuse to make the smart moves they have made.
If we DO end-up instituting tariffs it will be a temporary measure used more as a bargaining chip and the serving of notice that all of this one-sided wealth flow of recent decades is coming to an end.

Fueled by low-paid labor and the dictates of single-party rule which has free rein to force its citizenry into compliance.
We gave tax cuts to rich people and they pretty much kept screwing what's left of the middle class.
Yep. Nolo contendre.
Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

And, just as it is insane to let the GOP play that game again, so, too, is it insane to keep pumping money into China.

The smart moves they (China) had made was in relation to the sell outs of our own nation in order to build up and empower the Chinese nation for which is now taking sides in opposition to us, and is showing aggression in the world as a result of.

We have allowed ourselves to become the fool's in the game, and that might be unrepairable now.

If it's war China wants because we are going to try and fix the damages caused in a peaceful way, then it is war they will get.

These red, white, and blue color's don't run, but first we must root out the evil within before we can address the situation properly.

Except that most Americans probably don't see China as an enemy. I certainly don't.

So the government bans TikTok and all the Tiktok users switch to RedNote, another Chinese App with even closer ties to the Chinese government.

(My wife, born in China, thought this was hysterically funny.)

The GOP eh ? Best include the main culprits as well. Not saying that the game hasn't been played by all, but leaving out the rest is not being forthcoming when addressing it all.

China sides with Russia, and you as a leftist don't see it as a problem ?

Foreign entities shouldn’t be allowed to own anything or do any business here in the United States. Doesn’t matter if it’s China, Mexico, or the United Kingdom.

In 2021, a Chinese company bought land near an Air Force base in Grand Forks, N.D., sending lawmakers into a frenzy.

Lawmakers feared that China, which many policymakers view as a strategic adversary even though it's the country's top trading partner outside North America, could gain control over the U.S. food and energy supply, as well as a hold on markets and critical infrastructure.

The left are so culpable in the systematic destruction of everything this country was supposed to be. Freedom of speech all but gone
You still have Rednote and it is also a Chinese app that is still allowed in U.S.
