Romney opens double-digit margin among Independents

Republicans are getting more enthusiastic in voting for Romney, while democrats are significantly less so.

Romney needs to work hand-in-hand with the Republicans in Congress to present a credible blueprint for what America must do to lead America - and by proxy - the World away from the edge of the abyss.

He strikes me as the only person in America with the credentials to actually unite us once again, at least for a while.

It's too late, not for the world, but certainly for Europe. The east will be just fine. China and India are no longer emerging economies but emerging world economic powers with no connection to Europe. Within a very few years, Europe will again by embroiled in war. Almost all of Europe is looking to Germany for financial support. Germany is quite prepared to start saying no even knowing that it means the collapse of the EU. Some nations in the EU are already reestablishing national borders to stop migration of those fleeing depressed economies.

This isn't going to go at all well. Margaret Thatcher was correct when she said socialism works until you run out of other people's money. Europe is about to run out of other people's money.

I just read where Germany couldn't bail out drain-circling France now even if it wanted to.
