Well in my state, first a parent needs to file for support

If the deadbeat parent (and I’ve seen both sex) won’t or can’t pay the state will cover the cost, then the deadbeat owed that obligation back to the state and simply can be jailed for not paying

I suppose we could do that federally too

Getting a basic education in logic and training in how to make things with tools.

Then get a more refined education in their chosen vocation and avoid generational debt to pay for it? Or how about teaching them to manage their own finances and pick vocations that pay well with some education and a lot of apprenticeship?

In other words, be a productive member of society by having skills, managing finances, exercising impulse restraint, and planning for their retirement.

Repub's have control of the legislative process at the moment. Perhaps a (R) congressman should come up with a bill designed to reduce SNAP benefits and then pass it. You know, the way the government is supposed to work.
