In my opinion since this is an opinion forum and facts rarely matter:

1) Limited Govt. States and local rule over Federal rule when possible

2) Personal responsibility over Govt is here to help

3) Support of Free Markets. Reasonable taxes. Reasonable regulation

4) Traditional values aka no furries, trans crap,
DEI

5) Strong and advanced military

6) Support strong border security and contolled
Legal immigration

7) Support strong law enforcement none of this cashless bail and such. Back the Blue

8) Support 2A

9) End birthright citizenship for illegals

10) Death penalty for convicted violent criminals

11) Pride in being an American

12) Reduce perpetual social programs and create a system of reward for work not for gaming the system

13) There are only two genders

Doesn’t sound so bad

🤷‍♂

Conservatives believe we conserve the policies that have been successful.
Progressives and democrats think we should change policies for the sake of change with no regard for facts or reality because it makes them feel good about themselves. Then they fail and the hate starts.

In a nutshell, yes

Every Conservative decision branches from “I got mine, hell with everyone else”

Examples are healthcare, worker benefits, welfare, immigration, civil rights
What stops everyone else from getting theirs? Bob Kraft is a conservative and he donates millions to charity. Michael Dell donates billions. Not sure your definition is spot on but thank you for sharing.

You will be sorely disappointed the next day when you find the Republicans won the day! People are not as stupid as you assume they are. The Democrats have nothing to offer except "we don't like Trump".
The SC just reduced democrats chances to win and increased the GOPs chances when they ruled against racial gerrymandering. And as you say democrats have no solutions to the problems they created. What are they going to run on. Raise taxes et criminals stay out of prison keep criminal illegals in the country. Put men back in womens bathrooms? Good luck

Sure, if that happens. That's logical. But, right now, that does not look like that is going to happen.

I don’t have a significant problem with the stated definition of a conservative.

But it’s totally clear that MAGA isn’t really conservative.

Do you agree with it or disagree with it? Your post is vague.

I already said that I don’t have a problem with it, meaning I largely agree with it.

It’s weirdly cherry picked. Being a conservative is supporting death penalty? I guess but that’s a relatively niche issue.

Conservatism is against transgender concepts. Okay sure. A decade again they were also against gay people but that didn’t make your list.

Conservatism is more hierarchical. More religious. Less individualistic.

It is more that the the "Pro ISRAEL RINOs" aren't conservative.

W did absolutely none of the above OP list.

Then there is Huck....

The number of government workers increased by 20 percent, and the state’s debt services increased by nearly $1 billion. Huckabee financed his spending binge with higher taxes. Under his leadership, the average Arkansan’s tax burden increased 47 percent, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, including increases in the state’s gas, sales, income, and cigarette taxes. He raised taxes on everything from groceries to nursing home beds.

Huckabee answers these complaints by pointing out that he “cut taxes 94 times” while governor. True. But most of those tax cuts were tiny, like exempting residential lawn care from the sales tax. Some cuts reduced overall state revenues by as little as $15,000. On net, Huckabee increased state taxes by more than $500 million. In fact, Huckabee increased taxes in the state by more than Bill Clinton did.

On its annual governor’s report card, Cato gave Huckabee an “F” for fiscal policy during his final term, and an overall two-term grade of “D.” Only four governors had worse scores, and 15 Democratic governors got higher grades, including well-known liberals like Ted Kulongoski of Oregon, Rod Blagojevich of Illinois, and Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania

He says it is “a biblical duty” to pass more regulation to fight global warming.

What makes someone a “Conservative”?

Basically an indifference to the suffering of others.
A feeling of….I got mine, the hell with everyone else.
Conservatives just know the proper place of government. The free market is more efficient at helping those in need.
