The fall of the USSR was the failure of an empire, and it is no more a reflection on "Communism" than the fall of the British Empire was a reflection on Capitalism.
All empires fall eventually.
In the case of China, it has risen and fallen several times.
The 19th Century was the British Century
The 20th Century was the American Century
the 21st Century will be the Chinese Century
