1. Why are children "leading" anything? As children, they should be immediately told to get the **** back in their seats. They have less than zero right to "protest" anything on school time. Any "protesting" they wish to do must be done on their own personal time. Not during school hours.

Do we need to teach children basic math? Of course. Absolutely. 100%.

Should we be concerned that children are leveraging tools to be super efficient, effective, and accurate? No. That's the name of the game. That's exactly what every employer wants.

Schools need not be places that teach kids for the sake of some employer. Job hoppers are what is needed in the workforce. A good employee is ready to walk away at any time for a better paying job. People arent owned by their employers. Its time to get rid of the 2 weeks notice thing too. 2 days will suffice.

1. If they leave school without their parent's permission, that is a serious problem. What if the parent heads to the school in an emergency and they aren't there, stupid? Oops.

2. Outside, they could be the victim of a mass shooting, an abduction, a rape, an assault, or a zillion other crimes

3. There is a reason that schools are not allowed to leave CHILDREN unattended. These are not adults, you high school ******* dropout.
