Two days after the presidential election, Stewart Rhodes messages his Oath Keepers volunteers, telling them: “We aren’t getting through this without a civil war"
Relax folks, they'll be no civil war. While many on the right wing delight in making scary speeches, dressing in camouflage clothing, driving military style vehicles, and carrying guns in a pathetic attempt act macho and scare people, only a small percentage of them are ambitious enough to undertake the physical "grunt work" of waging an actual war. Although Mr. Rhodes has a law degree, most of these people are under educated, middle-aged white guys, angry and scared at the changing world around them, and feel helpless as more and more women and minorities assume legitimate positions of power. This group and the "so called" militias bear watching by law enforcement, but they have neither the weaponry, tactical skill (and most important) the ambition to carry out a civil war.
