Our media is so terribly incompetent or completely co-opted. Why have they not investigated Obama's role in the creation and arming of ISIS? Why are they not asking why Obama refused to attack ISIS oil conveys when air power could have easily taken them out months ago?

It seems clear that Obama wants Assad out so he backed ISIS. He also wanted Iran's influence in Syria curtailed. It looks like he was willing to allow ISIS to commit heinous atrocities to achieve these objectives.
