Pardon trump, I don't think so....

Among the questions Republican candidates are getting is whether or not they would pardon Trump were he to be convicted of federal crimes by a jury. Both Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis said that they would.

"The idea that Trump is above the law,
that Trump cannot be held accountable, that Trump — nothing that he does could ever be held up to judicial scrutiny in this country, that is not the American system of governance," explained Wilson. "They are saying we will carve out a special exception for a guy who we know has committed criminal acts. Who we know tried to overthrow the United States government. And they will pardon him."

I wouldn't pardon, let his rot in prison.
Has trump been charged with insurrection? Until then, he’s not guilty of insurrection.

They all lied to Congress, except Killary. Killary was never held accountable for the Russian hoax or rigging the 2016 primary.
There was no Russian hoax. No, they did not all lie to Congress. You must be a trump supporter, because you are doing like trump does by throwing a lot of shit at the wall, in the hope that some of it sticks.
The con is working on the unenlightened and the uneducated.

Maybe. But to terminate the federal criminal cases, he might just go ahead and issue himself a full and unconditional pardon.
That is what he is counting on. Somehow, I do not see people vote to end our democracy in favor of an
autocracy.

Where do you live? You do not get the news? There was a Russian hoax and those people did lie to Congress. You are not worth talking to.

We are not a democracy. We are a republic.

And pardoning himself night of the bullshit politically partisan nature of the charges is fine. Phone of it has anything to do with any “autocracy.”
Various forms of direct democracy exist in America. At the state and local levels, voters directly elect their city council members, mayors, school boards, governors, and state legislators. One person gets one vote, and the candidate with the most votes wins the seat. Likewise, in some states and localities, ballot initiatives and referenda allow voters to directly voice their support or opposition to specific legislative proposals. In this instance, these jurisdictions enact laws through direct democracy.

Everybody legal of the citizens get to vote.
We are a democracy! We have freedom of speech. Everyone has freedom of religion.

We are and remain a Constitutional republic.

The fact that we incorporate some elements of a direct popular democracy in some instances doesn’t change the fact that we are a Constitutional republic.

We are a democratic republic. And do tell what you would charge the insurrectionists with?

Pardoning trump will give the country a chance to heal and move on. Politically partisan nature, my ass.
Our democratic republic will end with trump as president. He has an autocratic nature and has already announced that he will round up his political opponents and put them on trial. The courts will decide his fate, and juries of his peers (like you and me) will make some of the decisions.

No crime, no conviction, no pardon.

Easy peasy.
