They probably don't, so such would have to be secured and shipped over.
Also, doesn't have to be warships or subs, could also be aircraft, and likely that is the more flexible delivery system.

HOWEVER, disabling tankers is down on my list of options to do. Not very efficient and too much unnecessary complications.

I'd rather see;
The mines cleared out of the Straights,
The Eastern coastline of the Straights/passage cleared of Iranian military and temporarily occupied by USA and/or Western military's
Possible occupation of Karrg Island (cut Iran theocracy's petro$$)
US Navy patrols and assures safe passage to world's ships
* Perhaps a fee/tariff on ships transiting to underwrite USA costs for fixing the world, again

All this just a temporary "patch" until a more peaceful, democratic, secular government and regime in charge of Iran.
