One item that has not been mentioned regarding the US-Iran negotiations is the issue of territorial sovereignty. Given the invasions of Iraq, Afghanistan and Ukraine, that should be a serious Iranian concern. What if the US offered to guarantee Iran's present borders (including its islands in the Persian Gulf) in return for Iran guaranteeing open passage of international shipping through the Strait of Hormuz?

Iran would also have to give up its offensive military and nuclear weapons programs, but might such a deal be worth it for them? The alternative may be continuous warfare until Israel decides to put an end to the Islamic State.

.

The US should destroy Kharg Island and seize All the enriched uranium, and then arm all the good Persian people and watch them take their country back.

Would that be before or after the reparations and giving Iran the right to charge tolls?

They should, they better, and they will eventually have to either overtly or by abandoning the region militarily altogether.
