Not going to work, an interesting dichotomy.

Electricians work up to 480v…High voltage Lineman will need to become ‘electricians’.
4kv-1,000,000kv is being phased out.
64kva lines are becoming more standardized...I've done switchyard substation work at a 500kva (from a power plant)
Lineman are still needed for connection to the grid and won't connect if the lightbulb goes on... doesn't matter how small a generating facility is... even if it's Solar or wind...they still gotta transport that juice somehow.

Not necessarily. Higher paying jobs can also cause businesses to shut down during non peak hours, and even close all together.

But govt can support jobs with child care and health care and retirement benefits. Even college loan forgiveness.
That is Capitalism. Market based arbitrage happens all the time. Good capitalists boom and lousy capitalists bust; it is a cycle.

Higher paid labor doesn't increase demand. Lol. Wow. Demand increases when supply is low.
Increasing income for the least wealthy gives us the best stimulus bang for our stimulus buck. The least wealthy tend to circulate most of their capital sooner and with less evasion.

In this country there is a group of people that are basically refusing to go to work for what they consider shit wages for shit jobs. They are holding out hoping to force companies to pay better wages. This group is venerated by the left and vilified by the right.

Then we have a group of people that are staging "sick outs" and quitting their jobs over the vaccine mandates, hoping to force companies not to enforce it. This group is venerated by the right and vilified by the left.

But in the end, are not both groups trying for the same thing, to use the power in numbers that employees have to force changes by employers?
I am very libertarian on this issue. Don't want to work then don't but the govt should not subsidize you. In terms of vaccines it's the no shirt no service. Up to your employer but the govt should not punish the employer if they don't want to require a vaccine mandate. No reason to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

nothing to disagree with here

Transmission becomes a thing of the past with stand-alone systems. I‘m not saying we’re 10 years from it being a thing of the past but we’re already scaling down and moving away from it.

True.

That's why I have no clue why some people support illegal immigration. A saturated unskilled job market causes wages to fall fast, which does upward economic damage.
It’s a no-brainer for anyone sane or not named Gustavo.
Most like Golfing Gator will say things like “I stand for higher wages” but they can’t bring their PC constrained selves to say “I know a mass eradication of illegals is needed to increase wages”……its easier and far more PC for them to say “I’ll just pay more for shit and keep my pet illegals”.
