In this country there is a group of people that are basically refusing to go to work for what they consider shit wages for shit jobs. They are holding out hoping to force companies to pay better wages. This group is venerated by the left and vilified by the right.

Then we have a group of people that are staging "sick outs" and quitting their jobs over the vaccine mandates, hoping to force companies not to enforce it. This group is venerated by the right and vilified by the left.

But in the end, are not both groups trying for the same thing, to use the power in numbers that employees have to force changes by employers?

Yes. I don't have a problem with either group not working. I don't think their tactic is inherently immoral or wrong. I'm more interested in what each side is attempting to accomplish.

However without some sort of Union neither will get very far.

In all reality we actually need our food processing facilities across the nation back at full production sometime soon, however that needs to happen or whatever it looks like.

Because America exports groceries, intellectual property, and technology. These things support our economic dominance in the world. These exports not only support our dollar but many currencies around the world as US dollars are the reserve currency for most currencies on the globe.

We also need Hollywood to stop stewing in their own unique crazy and get normal or else movies aren't going to sell around the world anymore.

Then we can worry about our tourism and service sector economies that brings foreign currency into our coffers. Until then...these other sectors could use a boost of some sort. Even if it means Government assistance. These processing facilities that cover square miles probably not going to work out for the future...Iowa Beef Packers needs to be broken back up into Greeley Colorado and other locations as needed. They consolidated into the mess we have now.

Multiple smaller facilities across the nation is going to be much better than these huge centers where the cattle and people are all moving in herds.
