We should have flat out at-will employment to make the USA a more competitive workforce.

An American citizen should be able to work for whatever wage they want without any benefits other than health insurance. He could have the option of signing a standard contact or completely at-will. Minimum wage does not apply, no 401K, no employer contribution to social security. His employment can be terminated at any time without justification, especially if the company doesn't think he is working hard enough, and he can't file for unemployment. No vacation or paid holidays. Also, the company could treat him any way they want up to the point of doing something that would be illegal to do to any citizen. Perhaps he could even get a higher salary for less benefits. If he doesn't share an office, the company could let him sleep in his office so he doesn't have to pay rent. The company could build shacks for employees to crash. It would make the USA more competitive.

It would create a lean, efficient work force. Imagine the whole workforce out-hustling and undercutting each other. Add in millions of foreigners coming in and under-cutting by kicking back part of their salary and the USA could get rid of trade deficits.

I think Western workers tried that phase pre-regulations, for some reason it wasn't too popular:

This should only apply to congress.
