As for Iran...the policy reminds me of the guy who is constantly hitting himself in the head with a hammer. “Why are you hitting yourself in the head with a hammer”? he’s asked.....

Why are we putting ourselves through the pain of hte deployment, the danger of warfare, and hte pain at the pump?

In one of those rare times, I agree with the OP. Once this ends Iran's economy is in a world of hurt.
