Would it surprise you to learn that since the $20 minimum wage increase took effect in Aprill of 2024 that california has had a record amount of fastfood jobs from then till now? Employers are hiring at a rate that far exceeded anything we've seen over the last 20 years. I guess there goes that narrative, whoops!
