Nephilim

In those days they didn't have copying machines and paper that didn't have a long shelf life. That is why God has told the Hebrews to appoint scribes. Most likely Joshua was the scribe for Moses. God put into Moses' thoughts visions of the past, like the way God gave him visions of the future of the land he will not enter into with the Hebrews. And have him to dictate to his assigned scribe at the time.

And that scribe put everything he said written down on scrolls. Scribes were like stenographers but they also had to make the pen, paper and ink. And also, their job is to memorize every scroll word by word. God never told them what was going to happen to them in the future, and so He prepared them for it without them knowing what is going to happen to them. And so, when they became slaves, their records were destroyed. But it was the scribes' job to memorize the scrolls and write them down again. But the stoned tablets were placed into the ark and never found.

But before the books of Moses were written. They followed other texts like the book of Jasher that some were passed down through memories and written or engraved. But Moses' books were written of the things that God wanted them to know. It is because God wiped out the memories of the people of Babel so that they will go back doing the detestable things that they have learned. And so, God left out those things.

And how we know that the books of Moses are from him. It is because Moses was raised as an Egyptian as Paul said. That he spoke little of the Hebrew language and that is why Aaron his brother had to speak to the Hebrews for him, but he didn't have to speak to the Egyptians for Moses. And that is why Moses' books had borrowed words from the Egyptian's language. Like it is the same way that Mexican American speak Spanish. That they use borrowed words from the English language. Mexicans from Mexico always tell Mexican Americans that they speak funny. That they throw in words into their conversations that they don't understand.

And so, the Jews and the Christians had to hide their records like in clay pots inside of caves. Especially from Nero who destroyed their libraries.
And it was hard for them to perform maintenance on the deteriorating scrolls. They don't last that long.
But it is hard for us to keep accurate records since the wicked of this time are trying to censored the truth by destroying our history, by the use of GMOs and chemicals that prevents us from remembering data that they have destroyed.
That it is written in the book of Daniel that they will try to change history by destroying our feasts that we performed those in the remembrance of Him. Feast days are used somewhat like a calendar, like the Farmer's almanac.

Exodus 20:8
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.

Daniel 7:25
He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.

Matthew 16:3
and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.

Chanukah this year (5782) is the holiday commemorates the re-dedication of the (Second) Temple after the Jews defeated the Greek occupiers.

The Greeks had tried to eliminate Judaism, by defiling the temple, forbidding circumcision and prohibiting other key practices, including (among other things) the calendar.

The Greek occupation was lead by Antiochus IV.
