As true as that might be, Scots are a bit divided, the Highland Scots still sometime speak Gaelic Celtic, and are more likely to have a Catholic faith, (Despite increases to Protestant over the centuries)

While Ashkenazi Jews score very high in the verbal section of the IQ test, they score lower on the spatial ability section of the IQ test.

I suspect this is because Ashkenazi Jews kept switching languages, they spoke Aramaic, and Hebrew, before speaking Yiddish, not to mention they also spoke languages like Polish, German, Hungarian, or Russian on the side sometimes too.

You do not know my background.-------I was still a "STUDENT" -----for most of my life in
the sense that all the NEW CRAP got thrown at me (now its different---I am retired and
no longer attending endless CONTINUING EDUCATION symposia) I am fully aware of

I disagree. When university was an aristocratic institution, with room made for the truly gifted, it was one of the greatest achievements of western man. It was when profit and the democratic impulse to level gained the upper hand that the death spiral began.
