It isn't hard to say what you want to say and also stay within the rules. I say exactly what I want to say and so far have never received a ding from any mod, even those who really wish I would go away I think, in all the years I've been here. I have taken a pledge to not feed the trolls, argue with idiots or engage in other exercises in futility so that cuts down a lot on my need to say what I'm thinking though.

And unless the 'other forum' is named, I doubt it breaks the rule to describe what it was like.
