I probably shouldn't reveal my congressional district, the way certain people are getting violent these days, but if they want to come for me, I'll try to help them cope with their rage.

Anyway, Mealer is the Trump endorsed Republican in the 9th district runoff and Cain is her opponent. I'll be honest, i know little about him. This is him:

He seems like a decent guy, based on his biography on the Texas legislature website. Maybe I will vote for him for something else. What turned me off of voting for him this time is the flood of anti-Mealer messages i got over the last several weeks. I don't believe that Republicans should run negative campaign ads against each other. They are addressing people of fairly like-minded political bent, they should each be showing how they will serve us, not how their opponent sux.

Anyway, Cain was at the polling place in jeans, a white western shirt and a cowboy hat, plus a make-me-look-older-I-hope mustache. He should have stuck with the suit. He's too small to carry that look off. I'm a shortie myself, so no shame. But i don't wear a cowboy hat because i know it would not be flattering. He was standing all alone, just outside the line they have painted on the parking lot that marks the boundaries for politickin' He said, "Hi, my name is Briscoe Cain if you have any questions." We just smiled and kept walking.

Anyway, no big political point, I just wanted to tell you. I won't be offended if you say "Kewl story, bro" ironically.

I used to work at Kurm radio, where Steve Womack was the general manager of his Dad's radio station; he was just a captain in the Nasty Guard. That was 1986-88. My last duty station was Fart Hood, Texass.

Texas sucks, especially since I am from OKC.
