We still have time for it to work out fine for Trump. I have been though 15 presidents so far and think I can rate each fairly and honestly. Trumps faults for me are he exhibits at times a massive ego. Ego's we all have but when one is annoying, it makes it worse.
He talks far too much as I see him even in the state of the union.
He says things that are true but worded so the media gets to butcher him.
Try this. Slow down on helping his butchers until he delivers the beef.

And one more thing. That also goes with another thing that Trump promised that he couldn't deliver about deporting every single illegal alien out of this country. It's just impossible!! Still, he did good job with illegal deportation at least.



While I agree with him that we should be more concerned about the illegals who murder people, this isn't the Trump I voted for.

I explained the unkept campaign promises in post #10 although I think that the shrinking the national debt was Biden's broken campaign promise not Trump's. Mac1958 also hit the nail right on the head in post #50 with broken promises by Trump, and as for kissing Israel's butt, helping them out with the wars is good, but how much time, effort, and money has been spent towards Israel versus the US?

In some ways I like the new Trump better, particularly when it comes to the Iran war. Iran was a massive threat that we would have had a harder time dealing with in the future. Better to fight them now before they get to that point.

Yeah, I can still give him credit for that much but he was such a badass back then. Now, with the exception of the Iranian war it seems like he's just an ass. Has he done anything for America since this war started again because I haven't seen anything. Maybe he has and I just don't know about it but broken campaign promises, not deporting illegal immigrants, (or legalizing them) spying on American citizens. This isn't the Trump I voted for and I desperately want the old one back.

Depends on what you mean. He IS looking after our country. He's great at multi-tasking and he doesn't seem to ever sleep. But, yes, the Iran war has risen gas prices and inflation is a little higher than we'd all like. But, it was smart to do the war now rather than later when it would have been more difficult. In the long run we will all be better off than if we had waited until Iran was an imminent threat. In fact, many lefties on here, and democrats in general, were fine with Iran having nuclear weapons and the ballistic missiles to carry them to the US.
