While I do feel bad for the players, I was under the impression that they were around ten years old if not younger. They are really 15 years old, which makes them more informed about what is going on these days and so while they shouldn't miss out on the competition, in my opinion, they shouldn't be all that surprised over what has happened if they are.

Little league is limited to 10-12 years old. This is the age of the common "major leaguers" that you see on TV in the LLWS.
