They do have it figured out. They've won. Trump is now conceding that they have the authority to close the Straits of Hormuz, something they've never had before. I'm being reminded that after Trump's deal with Kim in Korea, Kim got permission to build his nukes and Trump got a box of bone fragments from the Korean War.

The Iranian Regime hasn't changed. The leadership is now more hardline than it was when Trump started the war, but it's the same autocratic theocracy that overthrew the Shah of Iran in 1979. They are firmly entrenched in all aspects of Iranian life.

Iran is now refusing to open the Straits of Hormuz because Israel is bombing Hamas in Lebanon, and Trump can't do anything about it. Iran refused to negotiate with Witkoff and Kuchner so Trump sent J.D. Vance to negotiate.

The War is going so badly for Trump that yesterday, he sent Melania out to talk about Epstein, to distract the media from the war. He started this war to deflect attention away from the Epstein files, and now he's using the Epstein files to distract the media from the war.
