Just another white victim of a dindoo nuffin'.

And a bond? Of $100,000? What is going on?

The man charged with shooting a sheriff's deputy inside a hospital in Indiana appeared virtually in court Friday.

A judge set bond for Sharod Grafton of Chicago at $100,000.

Prosecutors also read out the charges that Grafton is now facing. They include attempted murder, use of a firearm to inflict serious bodily harm, auto theft and battery to a public safety officer.

Friday was Grafton's first time appearing in court since the shooting that left La Porte County Deputy Jon Samuelson with severe injuries in the Michigan City hospital.

Friday's hearing also came after Grafton's first appearance was postponed because the previous judge recused themself saying their impartiality might be reasonably questioned

Though Indiana is a red state, and has been for years, Michigan City, Indiana is well above the national average on crime.
I suspect the dufus is going to prison for years, via the state court system.
