You know... my grandmother (a very devout Christian in her own right) and I were talking about this at the dinner table. I told her that she (Kim Davis) was elected to do her job. Anyone planning to run for public office should do so being aware that the law that on the books when they are elected may not be the same--may change--while they are in office. She knew better.

The Law in Kentucky defines Marriage as the Joining of One Man and One Woman. The SCOTUS divined that such was unconstitutional... and the Kentucky Legislature has not revised their law.

You "FEEL" that the SCOTUS divining law, changes law, when in truth, the SCOTUS does not make law... having no power in the US Constitution to Legislate, which is constitutionally... the exclusive domain of the Legislature.

What you fail to understand, is that the people of the US are becoming sick and tired of you idiots... and many states are now in full fledge defiance of the US Federal Government.

Mrs. Davis represents those people and the Constitution upon which she and her constituent consented to be governed.... and she is in full defiance of the US Federal Judicial Branch, which has decided to become the SUPREME LEGISLATURE.

You are just twisting my words now. You don't seem to understand. The party is already intolerant, they don't need to give her any notice for her to know her views aren't welcome in the Democratic Party. They telegraph it to the world each time they open their mouths on social issues.

If the atmosphere within my own party is no longer conducive to my viewpoints, it is high time that I either switch parties, or simply disabuse myself from the two party system altogether.
