Joe Biden unilaterally declares new amendment to the Constitution.

Well, they can not, take away their ratification....that's just simple logic....

The court system will have the final say.

Why are you so against women having equal rights to men?

Sure, they can un-ratify as long as enough states haven't ratified for it to be proclaimed as ratified. Just as a state Legislature can vote several times over the 7 years to ratify after turning down ratification in an earlier vote, they can also un-ratify.

The ERA has nothing to do with equal rights.

It seems quite clear that no one took that cut off date seriously in the States since the constitution gives no time limit to ratify an amendment, otherwise the states would not have continued to ratify it by their state legislators over the decades past the man made, forced, cut off.

The Congress when passing an Amendment to the States can put a time limit. It has done so for all but one Amendment since the 18th Amendment.

A unanimous Supreme Court ruled in 1921 in Dillon v. Gloss that it was Constitutional.

This pdf, explains why.....congress putting limits on the States to ratify an amendment is taking away the State's constitutional authority to ratify amendments given in article 5.

There isn't a required constitutional time limit in the constitution for ratifying amendments, which is being reported....so it is ratified?

The ratification requirement is in the amendment itself.

No it isn't. The amendment itself overrides that as part of the amendment process.

You could extend that a little further and say that none of the text in the amendment was meant to be taken seriously, since there is no constitutional requirement that certain words have to be used. Why is it so difficult to just let the amendment die since it was written with a deadline?

Trump has a mandate from the American people.
Trump did not even get 50% of the citizen's vote Blaster.... More citizens voted against him, than for him....that's not a mandate in anyone's book.

Biden received 54% of the citizens vote... THAT could be considered a mandate.

it was part of the law passed sending it to the States. 7 year deadline. It may not be in the words of the amendment, but it was in the amendment package.

Deadline passed, wasn't ratified by enough States, done.

If a new version ever passes, say goodbye to Women's sports, Women's rooms, and other things based on sex.

7 year time limit.

sorry but already adjuvated by the courts and your opinion is wrong.

In related news, Joe Biden is an imbecile.
Caused by old age.

Before that no one knows how to category the man, because he was as cunning as a fox (yet in a very bad way), otherwise doing bad things allegedly when it came to using the hen house for his own personal wants and needs, and this outside of what his constituents wants and needs were.
