At this time, even I hesitate to post negative political posts but things really do need to be pointed out.

Others have compiled a more extensive list, but here are a few.

March 6: SXSW Canceled
March 10: Coachella canceled/postponed
March 11: the NBA cancels its season

March 13: trump declares this national emergency

This tells me two very important things.

1. State and local governments, and the private sector think this is so serious that untold billions in revenue (local taxes, tix/merch, etc...) will be lost.
2. Trump is following THEIR lead. His inaction and “wait and see what happens” approach has exasperated things. He was throwing the word “hoax” around less than two weeks ago at his rallies. This is not only dangerous and irresponsible, it’s criminal. A more responsible leader would’ve been more proactive, and would have taken those kits from the WHO (as the rest of the world did), and a true leader would not have dissolved his Global Pandemic response team two years before this outbreak. The right wanted to put a “smart” businessman in the highest office of the land. Not working out so great. Trump is pennywise and pound stupid.
