I've been saying here for years that it will take enough well-known people from a variety of areas -- government, popular culture, business, MEDIA, sports, social groups -- to say "enough is enough" and start a movement of their own. We're a celebrity-driven culture, and maybe that would help in some way.

My hopes are dwindling, but I'm still hopeful. I think it's more likely that we do our own Balkanization and be more like Europe, where going from state to state will be much more obvious, with clear differences in laws and norms. The continent dividing within itself. What a fucking shame.
