Iranian woman, who has lived in US for 47 years, taken by Ice while gardening

How many people are vax damaged?

You assholes who demanded everyone get vaxxed do not care about them,

When you ADMIT you were wrong about the vax and you cry over each and every vax damaged person….I will cry over this woman.

That is a 2 way street. Too bad for her, BUT FOR THE GREATER GOOD, SHE HAS TO GO. JUST LIKE THE VAX,

OP,

Sponsor her for citizenship.

If you care so ******* much, SPONSOR HER.

If she really arrived in the US prior to 1982, then she would have been eligible for permanent status under the Reagan amnesty. She wouldn't need to request asylum.

Something is not adding up here.

Child rapist and murderer who was living quietly in the neighborhood for 50 years was viciously arrested by the police and taken to jail! Shame on the police!
****** Bulger lived quietly in Santa Monica for 17 years before he was arrested. He was well liked and quiet.

Is gardening a euphamism got making bombs ? I cant say. But if Iran is the great Satan then this woman is worthy of protection.

Are the ICE goons just picking low hanging frruit while the real problems are elsewhere ?
Who can say.
They're picking low hanging fruit because Miller gave them a quota to fill or their asses are gone & that includes Homan. Trump's claim along with his lackeys like Nazi Barbie that only criminals would be taken was a goddam lie right from the get go. The plot is to deport as many "brown people" as possible, no matter what & a good example of that is those bastards taking this woman & tossing her in some gulag detention center.

What a country.

hahahaha…that’s awesome…We’re coming for old crippled Abuela in the middle of the night.

A stay is temporary and can be removed at any time for any reason. She had 47 years to regularize her status and didn't bother.
What's the maximum length of time a temporary stay can last?

Kashanian complied with all requirements over the time she lived here, according to her family; her arrest likely has more to do with the country she was born in.

"The timing of Kashanian’s detention came just hours after US airstrikes in Iran.

"Federal officials did not comment on her specific case, though the DHS released a statement highlighting the arrests of 11 Iranians nationwide over the weekend, according to Nola...."

"Kashanian arrived in the US in 1978 on a student visa and later applied for asylum, citing fears of persecution due to her father’s ties to the US-backed Shah of Iran.

"Her asylum request was ultimately denied, but she was granted a stay of removal on the condition she comply with immigration requirements, a condition her family says she always met."

Just kicked the shit out of hamas, hezbollah, yemen and iran.

And here you are whining about things you have no proof of.. which is that she always met the requirements.

They are not immigration officials.

Maybe they should go too.

SHe needs an injunction

Lord HAW-HAW, strikes again, hahahahahahahahaha! He/she/zee, is pathetic! And there he is my friends, the USMB rendidtion of LORD HAW-HAW------->Lord Haw-Haw: The Story of William Joyce - Historic UK

Shocking that the British could execute a person just for making valid radio sarcasm.
England is one of the most corrupt countries in the history of the planet, with its colonial imperialism, constant wars, fascism, racism, and aristocratic inequality.
The only country worse is the US.

She didnt have time to become a citizen in 47 years?

Why didnt the person she is gardening for sponsor her for citizenship and navigate her through the process?

47 years is plenty of time to become a citizen.

It is not easy or inexpensive.
The protection order should be enough.
She has a husband and child who are US citizens, and that should be enough.

The USA is safer today than it was 5 months ago and will be much safer in 2029 thanks to President Trump.

Wrong.
ICE is totally in violation of the law and basic constitutional guarantees, so now everyone is at much greater risk.
Essentially all rights are now no longer safe.

She didn't bother to become legal in 47 years??

They should charge her with a crime for each year she failed to follow our immigration laws.

Good riddance.

She constantly followed all our immigration laws.
She showed up for the annual status check.
What was wrong was ICE failing to approve her original asylum request, and make her go from year to year.

That would make sense if she had been guilty of some crime, but she wasn't.
It was the US who was guilty of destroying the democracy in Iran.
And then the US should have at least felt some responsibility for those Iranian refugees we created when the Shah we installed was defeated in 1979.

Pretty sure if we were in the UK illegally we would be promptly removed so such your mouth OP.

Those forced to become refugees due to the illegal actions of the US, should always be granted asylum in the US.
Its just like when we had to accept the Montanards from Vietnam.
