Okay, maybe not the perfect analogy, but you understand what I’m getting at. This idea that we need to share scientific advances and such is part of why I’m an isolationist. I just disagree on every level possible.

We keep out engineering advances secret, but not the basic science.
If we can do the basic science, so can everybody else. It's just a matter of who discovered or figured it out first.
It would be like trying to keep calculus classified.
