MLB does bad job advertising. I saw the Dodger game was on. Got used to 8PM EDT start one game a day. Had no idea zjays were on? Switch TV to Amazon for PIT/ game and remote is useless. I did not know Jays played until seeing your posts.

TV media on TV radio almost always on mute. Glance up if I see action.

2012 SF lost two at home. Won 3 straight at CIN. Down 3-1 to STL won 3 straight. Barry Zito game 5 on the road. Matheney choke job. Or the Giants don't get off the mat.

Baseball used to be so much more exciting before DH and rule changes. The double switch, when? Can I pull the starter up 2-1 bases loaded 1-out for a PH? In the 4th? 7th? Can I use him in Game 6 if so? Changing relievers to get match upside, gone. Now you have to check with the agent. Or is it a free agency year like Skubal wont throw 100 pitches?

I could manage a game now from home. Not someplace. From home by internet. Nothing to do now.

HP UMP screwed Polanco first time up calling a Spiltter 8" low a strike (upsetting the bench too) instead of ball4 Pokanco had earned.

Since that pitch, Polanco is "slumping" confused, un-sure, mad & angry, swinging at all low balls nearly in the dirt. Shameful UMPs.

They can really swing a game. Calling high strikes too. It is tough to impossible for most hitters to hit the 99mph up at your shoulders (usually rising also).

Cardinals didn't need him lol! They had Carp, Fowler and a bunch other stiffs. Maddening watching Carp never come thru in playoffs yet sometimes put in the #3 spot? Could not run, throw or field MLB level either.

The also didn't need Garcia, Arozerena, Alcanterra. Quite a few MVP or WS MVP types were cut loose. I thought O'Neil might br the next one....but he did little this year.

Yes they can. They have already won two WS. Both SEA and TOR came on MLB 1977.
SEA has never made it. I used to only like the NL. Now with the DH I guess I like them all?

yeah you aint kidding.Baseball is so fucked now it makes me puke. The DH was fine AS LONG as they kept it in JUST THE AMERICAN LEAGUE. It was a good idea to have the DH because it extended the careers of players.Hal Mcrae and George Brett of the Royals and Harold Baines of the chicago white sox. I liked the DH as long as it was just in the American league and the National league didnt have it.

I think the ONE TIME the league did something right was having it so the american league used it in the world series but the national league did not.

I liked it the national league did not have it for those very reasons you listed. so much startegy came into play in the NL league without it.

If you want to relieve the good old days when one league had it but the other did not and see strategy come into play without the DH, watch the classic Astros/Phillys playoff game from 1980. I think its the best playoff series ever.Its one of the top very best IF not the best.

they go into extra innings all the way to like the 18th inning and the announcers say the same thing you did saying-this is where i like it that the DH is not in play because you got to be thinking ahead -"okay i dont have these pitchers to play,i cant use these guys to hit and put in,who do i have available to me and how i use them?" there is so much strategy that comes into play that get gets taken away from that if you have the DH. is what you hear the announcers saying.

for that very reason i have not watched a world series sense the cubs won it in 2016.

my two favorite sports i grew up playing football and baseball are the two most corrupt. baseball for getting rid of the DH and the small maket teams unable to compete with the big market teams and the NFL because of the cheatriots with all the owners in on it together.

I hate basketball so i never follow that sport and am not aware of their corruption but i heard from others around here that it is every bit as much a corrupt cartel as MLB baseball and NFL football is? Is it? if so please elaboarate.thanks.

In the olden days you could not burn up ten relievers in the first 6 innings unless you were leading or had some starters down there to take over. If not....you are using an OF with the curveball or Ephus pitch. Even that was fun to watch. $300million DH stuck out by Tom Lawless or whomever.
