I'm just going to leave this right here, wow...

Is Bo done for the postseason? I forgot all about him.

First they said he would be back for the division series but that didn’t happen. He has been taking batting practice.

There’s no AAA ball at the moment so he can’t work out with the Buffalo team. So we just have to wait to see if he’s on the roster.

The roster for the ALCS hasn’t been posted yet.

I'm confident that the Jays win the AL, that Detroit has pushed their series to a game 5 is not a good look for Seattle. Seattle is clearly a better hitting team, have already beaten Skubal once, and they are in a game 5 against this team, facing Skubal again.

If they add Bichette back to the mix, and he is healthy, I see the Jays winning it all.

I really hope Bichette can play. This is what he dreamed of when he watched the 2015 playoff run on tv - playing in front of Toronto fans in games that mattered.

i was happy to hear seattle won, hate detroit ever sense they tore down their classic ballpark.:yes_text12: seattle has never been to the series so i am pulling for them.I will be happy either way if its seattle or the blue jays though get there cause i like them both.

we all know its going to be the dodgers in the NL for the world series so wheter its the jays or the mariners i will obviously be pulling for the american league.

now if some major shocker or miracle happened and it was the brewers instead then i wouldnt care who won between the brewers, seattle or toronto,i like them all but it will be the dodgers so i of course am pulling for seattle or toronto to win it all.

Toronto fans had all their dreams fulfilled last night. Not only did they end their series in New York in 4 games, it was a short flight home from New York on Thursday.

With last night’s game going 15 innings, exhausting their bullpen, the Mariners then had to get on a plane and fly overnight to Toronto, spend today sleeping and adjusting to the time change, then start the ALCS series tomorrow in Toronto, against a well rested Jays team who are playing at home.

Gausman will start for Toronto.

Either Detroit or Seattle was going to be exhausted after a 15 inning game. Both teams would have started with a pitching rotation that was probably going to be less ready for the entirety of the series. But when it is this time of year then rest does not matter as much, either, and pitchers all go longer than the regular season.

Seattle is having trouble hitting, that is their biggest problem right now. Advantage Blue Jays.

To be honest, we didn't care which team we would be playing, we're just delighted with the 15 inning Game 5, the bullpen being used up, and the long flight to Toronto.

This is Sportsnet's latest update on the Blue Jays roster situation:

Looks like the decision on Bichette won't happen until today at noon.

Full disclosure: The only active Blue Jay jersey I own is #11 - Bo Bichette.

And the Jays ALCS Series roster is up. Scherzer and Bassitt are on the list. Bichette is not.

There was a report earlier today that he felt pain while running the bases yesterday.

You look at playoff history, the teams that rest more often lose to teams that played more games before playing them. When you think about it, those teams have all the adrenaline, no time to sit around, and its an advantage. Seattle got some big hits tonight they weren't getting before.

I think the adrenaline wore off when Seattle got home.

The Jays played one less game than Seattle, and had two days rest instead of none. I think the 2 game lead and their schedule did Seattle in at home.

Regardless, it’s best 2 out of three now. Go Jays!!!

yeah but still back then in the early 90's the small market teams could STILL compete with the big market teams, the pirates just barely missed out on going to the series i think it was 90 or 91,they are as small market as you can get.

with the exception of the cubs in 2016,,that was the last time i watched the world series matter of fact was back then in 92.

I am pulling for the jays in the American league to go to the series and the Brewers from the National league and for the Brewers to win it all of course if they even get that far, gotta pull for the small market teams.

But im sure it will be the dodgers and jays so that will be a no brainer that i will be pulling for the jays to win it all. If it were the astros or yankees and the dodgers as we all expect it to be,could care less who of those 3 teams won, hate all 3 of them equally obviously.

Big Market out-spending small market teams 4-1 or 5-1.

That by itself is not so bad and it doesn't always work but when ALL small market teams lose good young drafted developed players to Dodgers. Mets or Yankmees every time (but Bobby Witt or Mike Trout) ir seems hopeless.

Do the Dodgers have any Pitchers they drafted and developed? They buy Japanese also. Another big name coming soon I heard.

Is Will Smith the only real Dodger that matters? Yes, it (MLB) is unlikeable like it is.

2-2 In Jays/Mariners series.

May the best man win.

Yep. Jays got up. They survived. It's a re-start. At least they showed some life vs. SEA pretty good pitching.
Isnt it odd that the ROAD team in this series is the one that has been blowing out the home team? that doesnt bode well for the jays. This might turn out to be one of those rare times when you DONT want to secure homefile advantage and be glad you are the road team.LOL we shall see.,maybe it just took a while for the jays bats to get going.
