I'm just going to leave this right here, wow...

Yesavage is making the history books tonight, aint he? This Dodgers team don't have the juice, Toronto has got this WS wrapped up.
He was stunning. A rookie pitching like that on the Dodger's field with WS pressure? However I'd be wary of calling it for the Jays because if that lineup wakes up and Yamamoto does his usual thing could be a nail biter Game 7.

I started this thread on October 4th. Here we are, less than a month later and who would have expected to see this scoreboard banner?

This part is the most shocking "TOR lead World Series 3-2".

The last one is always the toughest. Two in the Rogers Centre formerly known as the Skydome when the place filled 50,000. They can't expect a better situation than that.

the sad thing is we all know he wont last as a Blue Jay very long. within five years the asshole yankees, astros or dodgers will snatch him up,you just watch. will be sooo sweet to see the jays take down the top dollar dodgers.
:yes_text12: thats was so bittersweet a couple years ago when the small market devil rays took down the big market yankees AND astros,if that would only happen ALL the time.:yes_text12:

would have been even MORE sweet had they pulled off the trifecta and beat the DODGERS in the world series as well, now THAT would have been a dream come true that year.
a cinderalla story ending.

I’m more concerned about Bichette’s prospects after this season. Bo is a free agent at the end of this season.

The Jays went out of their way to sign Vlady to a lifetime contract but Bo was concerned he was seen as disposable. Given his outstanding results this year, they may give him the extension we all want.

Maximum seating at the redesigned Rogers Centre is 39,150 people, not 50,000. The new fan friendly areas actually cut down on the seating capacity while making the games more enjoyable for people stuck in the outfield.

If Yamamoto can get a win tonight, they were saying today that field level seats for Game 7 will be priced between $9,000 and $13,000 dollars. I bet that assclown in the orange Marlins jersey will buy one.

Doug Ford was supposed to be passing a law to protect the public from ticket resellers but obviously that hasn’t happened.

Extra innings in Game Seven.

To think that this thread could become legendary. Preserved in a Canadian heritage museum win or lose :)

Once again, I fell asleep before the game ended and I’m gutted they didn’t win.

But it has been the best season for the Jays since 1993 and for that I am truly grateful.

Now let’s make sure Bo Bichette gets signed this off season.

As I posted a few days ago, It was a nail biter game 7. Yamamoto was the well deserved MVP. Heart breaker for the Jays fans but that was an epic World Series!

Jays were the better team, they couldn't close it out. What a tough end to a great run, be up 3-2 and lose 2 at home. They made a couple huge mistakes last night, the biggest being walking Betts twice. All you had to do was throw 3 straight pitches down the middle, if he fouled one off, you had to throw 4. Could not believe he got walked in the 6th and then scored.
