Gunny, I think you are a little confused on this. He, like Kamala and a whole host of us are citizens because we were born here. Ted Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother. That is why he is a US citizen. That doesn't apply to most of us.

That doesn't fucking matter in the context of what Unk said. He is a US citizen because he was born in the US, not because his parents are citizens. If, as you pointed out, he was not born to American citizens he would still be a citizen himself.

I gave the example if he was like Ted Cruz, he would be a citizen because his mother was American, because he was NOT born in the US.
