"...Any time it wants...", what are our troops still doing there?
In a statement on Saturday, Nouri al-Maliki said, "...Iraqi forces are capable and American troops can leave 'any time they want.' "
This when Bush has repeatedly stated "Were not leaving so long as Im the president." The premise here being that our forces will remain in Iraq until Bush can dump the problem in someone else's lap. But that's been Bush's M.O. for most of his adult life...Make a mess and let someone else clean it up.
So, why are our troops still there? Bush can bring them home "any time" he likes, so why isn't he doing so?
