After all that and the killing of many innocent school girls in Iran…

What do we get?

It’s clear what Iran gets, what did we win?

Trump won the opening of the Straight of Hormuz. If it hadn't been for Trump, the Straight would be closed, forever.

And... and.... Trump gets another country for his Nobel Peas Prize and his FIFA suckcock prize. How many wars has he ended now?

I'm not so certain about that. It's too soon to say. This may turn out poorly for them over the long run. Or maybe not. Who knows.

Yep. For selfish reasons I'm glad it didn't escalate into anything worse.

That said, Iran is the size of Alaska and Israel the size of New Jersey. They could certainly use the help, and they are a stabilizing democratic influence we want in the region. That said, without knowing the trigger that brought the destruction of Fordrow last summer or the attack on Iran this Spring, we really cannot say whose war we were really fighting? If this MOU resolves well, it'll be a win-win for most everyone, even Iran wins if they can just get their head out of their ass to realize it. And more to the point, if we shouldn't be fighting Israel's war, maybe we shouldn't be arming and funding Ukraine neither?

Russia is a threat to the US. Iran isn't. So bleeding Russia out isn't a bad thing. Until that is... it makes them launch their missiles. But to your point, supporting Ukraine is for Europe, like attacking Iran was for Israel. So there are some similarities. So maybe we shouldn't be doing it either. Maybe it's time to do nothing and let other countries come to us begging for help. Maybe we should let them sweat a little.

I don't believe it is over. Just in abeyance for at most, the next 60 days, if even that long.

I'm not so sure. Iran had enough U235 for 10-12 Hiroshima bombs and an already demonstrated ability to hit Paris. That's a pretty big threat. They might have even bigger rockets, or might have in a couple years, that's why I go on trust--- I trusted Trump to be the far better choice over Harris or Biden. And we can only trust him now to do the right things to the best of his ability. And everything Trump says is that we had to move NOW on Iran.

So we send 600 billion dollars to Ukraine to help the same EU that doesn't know us in Iran and wouldn't even let us land in our own bases or fly over their country? Eeeeeer.
