Did Iran win and did Trump lose? There are murmurings that Trump turned tail in his war against Iran because he ran out of missiles. Others believe that he lost because of the mess he made of the global economy and because world leaders (and members of his own Party) were putting pressure on him to wave the white flag. Perhaps he woke up one day and remembered promising that he wasn't going to start any new wars (but that would require a conscience). Why do you think Trump caved on his little "excursion?"

Whatever the case may be, it certainly appears that Iran won the war on principle. The regime is essentially the same as it was before they were attacked (although they have a lot of rebuilding to do). They still have their uranium. They and Oman will likely regulate the Strait of Hormuz and "make bank" on tolls. There are fewer US Military facilities in the immediate area. And will Iran's assets may very well be unfrozen. We'll see.

And I'm hearing the Israel's war on the innocent Lebanese people is supposed to cease as well. Really? What would Israel do if it wasn't bombing its neighbors? Yeah ... good question.

But Trump's loss may send a greater and more important message to the world. If he wasn't able to protect his "greatest ally" then what sort of ally does America make? Can Taiwan rely on Trump's America? Japan? NATO countries? Is America's military as powerful as we were led to believe? I think it probably is but it needs a competent, intelligent, and able military leader at the helm. Not Pete Hegseth for Pete's sake.

The only silver lining I can see as a result of Trump's defeat is lower fuel prices which might lead to lower prices on consumer goods and food. But that will depend on whether or not the Fortune 500 and the big oil companies are willing to lower their prices. Time will tell.

According to some.......

Some ==> Anyone who will preach your narrative.

Why don't you make yourself useful and become a precinct committeeman?

And stop wasting our time.

He wants to be done so he can try to get Cuba to be afraid of him since no-one else has so far.

It’s hard to imagine Trump defying a direct order from Bibi to press the attack on Iran until American has run out of missiles, troops and money. But that would be a welcome event

More and more it looks like Xi and Putin convinced Iran to take the steps toward peace because there is absolutely no downside to Iran. To wit:
  • If peace does come it will be on terms favorable to Iran. Neither Trump nor Bibi will be running Iran. Iran will officially control Hormuz. Bibi has to stop killing civilians and bombing ambulances.
  • If there’s no peace the economic devastation by closing the Strait will make Israel and their American subsidiary absolute pariahs on the world stage. This may spark long overdue civil wars in the Western Hemisphere, a blessing as big as rainfalls in Iran after the American weather manipulation radars were recently catastrophically decommissioned

Trump did the same thing with the Taliban
He gave them whatever they wanted as long as we got out.
He never bothered to consult the Afghan government

If Trump actually hightails it out of there, he'll be doing the right thing even if it "tans his hide." He may have gritted teeth and a grimace but his loss will be America's gain. Or -- his short term pain will be America's long term gain.

At least we can rest assured and sleep well knowing that he can't run for a third term. If he doesn't hammer the final nail in America's coffin during his current term ... he likely would in a third term (as long as he permits Israel/AIPAC to call the shots).

As it stands, I pray that America refocuses on the vision of the Founding Fathers. Thomas Jefferson was so right when he warned us about "foreign entanglements." Look at the mess such entanglements have created for the American people. Americans long for the day when the Federal Government puts American interests first.

According to "some". :laughing0301:
It only took one, Paul Revere, to announce the British were coming.
It only took 12 (the Apostles) to spread the Gospel message to the known world.
It only took 13 colonies to morph into a nation.

In other words -- one truth is much greater than a thousand lies.
